The R&D cleanable and reusable high flow USCG Approved Flame Arrestor for the FX 140 is a direct replacement for the stock breather in the OEM air box. Water tested to deliver improved throttle response, acceleration and top speed with 50-100 RPM increase. Units with 15-20+ operational hours may see greater performance increases. This is not a gauze type element and does not need to be oiled. No need to buy new filters with this one, just clean and reuse, unlike OEM which cannot be cleaned when dirty. Used wherever Yamaha part 6B6-14451-01-00 is used.
